This in-person conference features guest speakers and workshops on issues including women’s health, finances, family and legal rights, entrepreneurship, and discovering your passion. It provides the ability for like-minded women to gather, network, and inspire one another. Each year the event has grown in attendance and content. Ford Motor Company has been the main sponsor of the expo for the past two years.

WOTR, the Minority Business Development Agency of Central and North Florida, and the Women's Business Enterprise Council of Florida (a partner of the Women's Business Enterprise National Council) team up for information-packed interactive sessions on everything necessary to obtain a business certification.

Topics include:
•    Types of businesses that should consider applying for certification and why it’s important
•    Uses of certifications
•    The certification process
•    Securing government contracts for your woman-owned business

Every year we host a retreat for our members to relax and cultivate bonds with the other amazing women who are also members! It's always a fun chance to gain some perspective and connect with like-minded women.

Our awards gala is a night of celebration that pays tribute to the women of Central Florida making contributions to their community and their professions. Nominations for the awards come from the local community and represent a wide array of professions and accomplishments. Award categories include the top Entrepreneur, Educator, Influencer, Leader in Tech, the Deeva to Watch, and the Young Achiever, who also receives scholarship money for college.

This event is for the success-minded woman looking to make meaningful connections and gain actionable insight to help her cultivate her ideal career and lifestyle by creating a physical “vision board” that is a representation of everything she wants for her life. It is held annually and open to all.

Livestreamed on social media, these interviews with WOTR members are held frequently to provide encouragement and insight to other women in both their personal and professional lives. Topics vary but all provide important messages about believing in yourself and your capabilities to achieve the life you deserve from those who have done it for themselves.

This annual picnic event is held in a local park and focuses on inspiring participants through affirmation activities and connections with other women.
