This in-person conference features guest speakers and workshops on issues including women’s health, finances, family and legal rights, entrepreneurship, and discovering your passion. It provides the ability for like-minded women to gather, network, and inspire one another. Each year the event has grown in attendance and content. Ford Motor Company has been the main sponsor of the expo for the past two years.

The WOTR Career Development Cohort offers participants:

  • expert-led workshops that focus on effective networking, personal branding, and mindset enhancement;

  • financial literacy integration which covers navigating salary negotiations, budgeting, and long-term financial planning;

  • a one-year mentorship, which matches each participant with a mentor to ensure sustained growth and support;

  • and community support from WOTR’s network of women who are seeking to not only elevate themselves but each other.

Our awards gala is a night of celebration that pays tribute to the women of Central Florida making contributions to their community and their professions. Nominations for the awards come from the local community and represent a wide array of professions and accomplishments. Award categories include the top Entrepreneur, Educator, Influencer, Leader in Tech, the Deeva to Watch, and the Young Achiever, who also receives scholarship money for college.

This event is for the success-minded woman looking to make meaningful connections and gain actionable insight to help her cultivate her ideal career and lifestyle by creating a physical “vision board” that is a representation of everything she wants for her life. It is held annually and open to all.
